Just a short walk to all the major attractions of Avignon. Patrice and Annie are excellent hosts. They gave us directions every day as where to go. Treated us like family. This hotel is a real gem!

The hotel is in a great location in Avignon, on a side street downtown. It is very near the train and bus stations, so served me well as a "home base" for a week in Provence. Patrice and Annie are exceptionally kind hosts and founts of information on what to do and where to eat.
Colbert is not fancy, but clean, comfortable, and certainly convenient.
I consider it to be a discovered gem in my travels and hold it as the yard stick for other hotels.

We stayed at Le Colbert while exploring Provence at the recommendation of our son. It is a little gem of a place, perfectly located for sight seeing, shopping and good restaurants, as well as bus and train connections. The breakfast room is lovely and the breakfasts are fabulous! There is a sweet serene courtyard where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a book. Annie and Patrice are wonderful hosts: so friendly and helpful. Thank you, Patrice, for your excellent restaurant suggestions.
